New inland dive site
Lo all
Been a bit quite here lately! Is anyone reading the forum?
I have just read about Cromhall Diving Centre a new inland dive site of the M5 see http://www.cromhall.com/community/cromhall_diving_centre.php
Anyone interested in a visit sometime?

I guess we will just have to fill your dry suit with warm water - Thats the only way you will bet to dive in water that warm in a UK quarry!
Was it good then?

This site sounds good, and it has a beach entry. Its not that far away, so worth a visit, when do you want to look at going.

Found where the Avatars are.

How early are you going to get to the Pub, !!!!, if they are closed there is the National Dive Center just over the Bridge.
You have Ken with you so not a problem with Navigation!!

So it looked an interesting place, a bit green, and murky, but sounds like you guys had fun.
At 7c water temp it must have been warmer in the out !!!

I though it was a great dive site, bit sparse on facilities and the surface cover boat was out of action. But plenty of parking and the toilet and
changing container (yep just a plain old iso-container) were clean and dry.
The vis was generally pretty good - got a bit murky in places but no worse than than vobster can be but a lot better most of the time.
A beach entry was a nice change. It was a bit cold - but the sun was shining and it was a lovely day. I would go back
